Ski Hills, Hot Springs & Sights in Japan

Race down Naeba Ski Resort’s world-class slopes, relax in soothing natural hot springs & enjoy a half-day outing in Tokyo.

About Your Trip

Calling all skiers and snowboarders! Embrace the wintry outdoors with a family-friendly adventure on the snowy slopes of Japan's main island. You’ll spend 2 days on the scenic runs of Mt. Naeba, a massive winter sports wonderland that spans the Naeba and Kagura ski resorts via Japan’s longest gondola system. Then, after skiing, you can revive your muscles at Naeba Ski Resort's hot springs — indoors at your hotel or outdoors at the Day Trip Ski Center!

Once you transfer back to Tokyo, immerse yourself in the cultural side of Japan. Start with a visit to Senso-ji (also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple) and Nakamise-dori Street’s bustling shopping arcade. You’ll also stop at Kokyo Gaien National Garden (at the Tokyo Imperial Palace) and enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant with an open bar. The evening is yours to explore more of the city at your leisure or simply relax after your action-packed adventure.

What we love:
• While there’s no shortage of runs for skiers of every level at Naeba, the family-friendly ski resort is known for having plentiful slopes for beginners.
• Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest, is over 1,300 years old.
• The vibrant market on Nakamise-dori Street is the perfect spot to sample Japanese street food and pick up souvenirs.

Tokyo has an active nightlife, featuring lively bars and clubs throughout its many districts. It claims more Michelin stars than any other city, a reflection of its outstanding culinary pedigree.
